ELISABETH ARDEN beauty bag made of genuine dark blue leather with a striped moiré silk interior. At the opening there are pockets suitable for storing make-up with a rigid plastic protection in front as well as on the sides. On the base the same silk is revealed in excellent condition without a plastic lining, fully revealing the true French moiré. The bag at the top has the rounded corners typical of the 1950s and 60s period and is equipped with a lock and key with a golden engraving M. .A. .B. .M. underneath. The golden metal finishes and feet underneath create magnificent colours of extreme elegance accompanied by an excellent quality that in terms of shapes and colours has a clear antique matrix. Historical notes: Elizabeth Arden is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the world of cosmetics, one of the first entrepreneurs born in a small Canadian village in 1878. In 1909 she joined her older brother in New York where she began working for a short time for the beautician Eleanor Adair. The girl has very clear ideas: in the same year  she founded the business Elizabeth Arden ”, a name inspired by a friend and the poem  Enoch Arden  by Alfred Tennyson. .
