The cover is adorned with a finely painted scene representing a small group of lotus flowers and a stylized vegetation, engraved in an ornamental body in the form of the sun. On the inside, the bottom and the top of the cover present floral motifs concentrated in the sun circles, typical of the Indo-Persian decoration of the époque.

On the inside, the bottom and the top of the cover present floral motifs concentrated in the sun circles, typical of the Indo-Persian decoration of the époque.The structure is made of metal, with a finished piece made on the sheet in the tube, a construction solution typical of colonial artisanal objects. The surface exterior has a dark patina of origin, with light oxydation and age-related signs, which reinforce its historical characteristics and material.
These items were often used as toilet bowls or toilet bowls during the British colonial period in India.
