📖 An era of creation and creation: the Omega Fountain Pen Company was founded in Milan in 1930 by Alfredo Verga, former co-founder of Columbus in 1919. The first Omega fountain pens adopted the button charging system. For the suite, the company introduced the « Supernova » model, with the words «Omega Supernova Registered Brand AVM» (AVM means Alfredo Verga Milan). Cellulose, the first thermoplastic resin invented in 1863, revolutionized the world of writing with its lightness, elasticity and chromatic brilliance. Used for historic brands, the need for long drying times and complex know-how. The rest is one of the most fascinating materials already used for the creation of fountains, capable of making each species unique at the same time.
