Stylo-Plume Stylo à Plume Ottoman Impériale Sultan Abdulhamid II Antique
Vintage Ottoman fountains with Tughra imperiale Fountain artisan à main du stylo par Goldsmith Craftsmen pendant l'empire ottoman, dated between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The object framed for the golden metal body is finely chiselled with a floral base and for the former buse T (imperial calligraphic signature), attributable to Sultan Abdulhamid II (1842-1918) . On his souvient like the former grand sultan of absolute before the advent of the modern Ottoman Parliament. Sous son royaume, an elaborate artistic and symbolic language, here also includes the use of imperial monograms (Tughra), complex calligraphy and floral symbols with a political and spiritual value.

The plume had a lot of heart and écrits oriented towards the refinement of Ottoman calligraphy, so that the base suggests a daily use for official writers. A stylus here is only a writing tool, but an authentic relic of a refined civilization.

📖 An era of encrement and genius: in the heart of the former glories of the Ottoman Empire, the writing was sacred. Central figure of the late Empire, this is connu pour son style de gouvernement d'autorité mais also pour la modernization de l'État et les profound transformations culturelles et infrastructures. It is the promoter of large infrastructure projects, including the famous Hijaz Railway, and partisan of science and education.
