Made entirely by hand in 800 silver not punched, this ex-voto wall or reliquary, dating back to the second half of the twentieth century, contains the eternal language of faith in a baroque sculpture of great visual and emotional impact.

The central element is a large flaming heart, made with an embossed technique and framed by an oval of sacred symbols engraved in relief, which tell - like a gospel engraved in metal - the Passion of Christ:

   •   Crossed nails – symbol of the Crucifixion

   •   Fluted column – flagellation

   •   Oblique cross – Golgotha

   •   Stairs - Deposition

   •   Hammer and pincers – instruments of torture

   •   Spear and stick with sponge – side wound and suffering

   •   Eucharistic chalice – the blood sacrifice

   •   Face of the Redeemer crowned with thorns – icon of mercy

   •   Rooster – denial of Peter

   •   Six-pointed star – messianic light, fulfillment of prophecy

All symbols enclosed by an embossed filigree border, worked in baroque floral motifs, decorated with green and red hard stones set, which shine on the perforated base, creating an extraordinary scenographic effect: at the apex the yellow gold-plated crown with the cross which symbolizes the sovereign reign of God over the peoples. 

A devotional composition of theatrical suggestion, ideal for collectors, votive chapel, churches, votive reliquaries, sacred art environments or galleries.
