A unique masterpiece crafted for history: a tribute to the crown, a tribute to writing A pen out of any commercial series, made between 1925 and 1935, with each element hand-forged to represent an institutional or commemorative gift intended for a high official or an official ceremony.The body is in black ebonite turned and chiseled in low relief, with a screw cap and 18KRI gold-plated metal clip, decorated with laurel leaves, a symbol of knowledge and triumph.
The top of the cap features a heraldic monogram engraved in Art Nouveau style, with intertwined letters “VE”, corresponding to the official logo of Vittorio Emanuele III , used on trophies, ceremonial objects and distinctive signs of the Kingdom.
The retractable Safety Pen mechanism, combined with a dropper filling system, offers silent, smooth and powerful writing.
A cult object, never replicated, which represents an absolute pinnacle of Italian writing instrument production.

📖 An age of ink and genius: In the heart of the Kingdom of Italy, writing meant exercising authority and culture. This Aurora Safety Pen, made between the 1920s and 1930s, is engraved with the official monogram of King Vittorio Emanuele III, used on coats of arms, cups, court furnishings, and decorations for high officials. With its clip engraved with laurel leaves and hand-crafted ebonite construction, this pen is the sole surviving testimony to an institutional and regal Italy.
It was never sold to the public: it was awarded as an honor. Today, it represents an authentic fragment of the history of writing and the Italian monarchy.
