A great devotional masterpiece from the nineteenth century: a precious copper plate engraving depicting Saint Teresa , kept under an original curved glass, framed by an elaborate embroidery entirely hand-made with black and white glass microbeads.
These works, patiently and refined in their craft, were often created in convents and monasteries by cloistered nuns, who combined their prayer with their craftsmanship, creating unique pieces intended for chapels, home altars, or as votive gifts.
