The liturgical robes are enriched with sequin gold decorations, which give preciousness and depth to the image.
Authentic work of the famous Bouasse-Label Maison, Parisian publisher of Sacred Art (Rue Saint-Sulpice, 23), known for devotional creations of the highest value.

πΉ Original coeval frame
The painting is kept in its ebonized wooden vintage frame with gold leaf gilding, decorated with rosettes, floral motifs, volutes and Renaissance friezes. The golden, applied on a mission with punch finishes, presents the typical wear of the time, which gives the artifact an authentic and inimitable patina.
A frame not of simple outline, but an integral part of the work, made in the same period (late 18th - early nineteenth century), perfectly consistent with style and elegance.
π An era of manual art and genius: the Bouasse-Label Maison (founded in Paris in 1845) is considered one of the main publishers of sacred art of the 19th century. Its rare works in Bassorition Limousin enamel represent a top of technique and spirituality: the medieval tradition of Limoges relives in these devotional tables, designed for private speakers and aristocratic collections. An object that combines Faith, Art and High School Art and Crafts.
